Description
Ambitious and commercial Agile trainer / coach with German as mother tongue, who likes to set up an Agile Scrum Group branch in Germany from the ground up.
The goal is to grow ASG Germany to 5 employees (marketer, office manager, 3 consultant/trainers) in 2021 and then to grow to a team of approximately 15 to 20 employees in the following 2 years. There is the possibility to buy into Agile Scrum Group Germany after 1 year for 20%. As a Business Manager you are ultimately responsible for the entire business operations.
 
Tasks:
- Training and coaching with customers
- Following up on leads
- Conducting job interviews and hiring new employees and freelancers
- Managing employees and freelancers
- Working together with partners (online marketing, financial administration) who support in the initial phase (later these will become permanent positions)
- Determine strategy for further rollout in Germany
 
Requirements:
- University education
- Extensive experience (5+ years) with Agile and Scrum (preferably also in non-IT)
- Experience in providing Agile training courses
- Experience in coaching employees & managers
- German as mother tongue, knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial and commercial attitude
- Ambitions to run your own company with a hands on attitude
 
Office location: Düsseldorf or Köln
 
Support of Agile Scrum Group in the Netherlands
As a business manager you are ultimately responsible for Agile Scrum Group in Germany. You will of course make use of the network and the knowledge and skills of the Dutch office in Amsterdam. Founded in 2015 and has approximately 15 employees. You have monthly meetings with the Agile Scrum Group partners to discuss progress.
 
Agile Scrum Group has a unique proprietary (online) marketing approach with a proven track record, including high positions in online search results (both in the Netherlands and in Germany). This ensures a large number of leads and registrations for training.
 
Agile Scrum Group introduced its own unique Agile certification in 2017, called IIABC.org. This organization issues Agile certifications, like Scrum.org and Scrum Alliance, but focused on use outside of IT. The exams are available in Dutch and English. The German language version is ready to be launched.
 
Agile Scrum Group is part of the Improvement Group, this is a network of several small specialist boutique consultancy firms focused on Agile working, Lean process optimization and Robotic Process Automation.
