Job:
As the Plant Continuous Improvement Manager you will lead a team of 2 change agents and will be the key person as the major driving factor for the plant transformation. Next to that, in this role you are the key contact for the transformation on site and supports leaders and employees on adopting new operating models and ways of working to become best in class in our industry and strive to Operational Excellence. This position partners with employees at various levels throughout the organization to drive the consistent and timely implementation of management practices, e.g. lean management and other continuous improvement projects.
 
Key responsibilities and tasks:
-      Assist with deployment and execution of Operational Excellence program for the site
-      Make plant manager and his plant leadership team successful in implementing Operational Excellence by implementing Trivium Business Standard.
-      Build credibility on new way of working through direct, personal engagement with leaders and employees together with the team of Change Agents.
-      Support the analysis and reporting on the adoption of the new ways of working, including escalating identified roadblocks to execution of the transformation.
-      Develop solutions and resolve the most complex issues through notable depth and organizational experience in Trivium Business System.
-      Synthesizes information into concise insights for the transformation leadership team.
-       Assist in mentoring employees on the tools required by the new methodology to obtain results and maintain controls after implementation. Provide professional or technical growth through assignment, mentoring, or training.
-      Ensure and provide regular updates/meetings with site team consisting of Plant Management Team and supporting Plant Manager in updating senior.
 
Key Skills and experience:
-      Technical studies (e.g. Engineering, Mechanical engineering etc.) as a background or comparable experiences in an industrial / production environment
-      3-8 years’ experience on implementing lean tools/techniques on Gemba as a project leader of x-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
-      Profound knowledge of Lean/6Sgima tools and techniques especially on root cause problem solving, performance management, value stream management and workplace organization (5S)
-      Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage data-driven and results-oriented transformation programs in manufacturing environment autonomously that achieve the targeted goal.
-      Experience leading teams to achieve challenging goals.
-      Experience managing stakeholders at multiple levels.
-      Strong relationship building and influencing skills with a large informal network within the organization.
-      Strong organizational skills and good judgment; must be a team player, positive, flexible, and creative.
-      Strong coaching, training and facilitation skills; ability to manage group interactions.
-      Demonstrated creative thinker and problem solver.
